The Municipalities of Aberdeen, Bel Air, and Havre de Grace have been awarded the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant from the US Department of Transportation. Through the SS4A grant, 21 total intersections were identified for evaluation and further study to improve safety and enhance multimodal mobility in each municipality. These evaluations and analyses, along with information obtained through the public outreach process, were used to develop an SS4A Action Plan. This Plan includes recommendations for short-, mid-, and long-term improvements for each intersection and provides the framework necessary to advance future multimodal transportation safety upgrades (view Action Plan below).
