City of Havre de Grace Wants Your Used or Leftover Christmas Cards

The City of Havre de Grace is pleased to announce it is partnering with Harford County Office of Recycling to collect used or leftover Christmas Cards. This clever idea, spearheaded by Harford County’s Recycling Specialist Wendy Doring, offers a new life to Christmas Cards that may have just ended up in the trash or recycling bin. Ms. Doring shares, “The Office of Recycling is planning a Christmas in July event that will have children making wooden ornaments decorated with used Christmas cards. We need as many as we can get!”

The City of Havre de Grace has one bin at City Hall located at 711 Pennington Avenue, and another bin has been placed at the Activity Center located at 351 Lewis Lane. Please bring your used or leftover Christmas Cards to either location for drop off.
