Casi Boyer was appointed to the City Council in November 2017 to complete the term vacated by Steve Gamatoria.

With over 25 years of project management experience focused on program management, strategic communications and command information, Casi is currently a management analyst for the U.S. Army Communication Electronics Command.  Her past assignments have included serving as the executive officer for Software Engineering Center and as a member of the CECOM Commander’s Initiatives Group. Highly recognized for her work throughout her career, Casi has received the CECOM and C4ISR Mid-Level Employee of the Quarter awards, the U.S. Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service the U.S. Army Commander’s Award for Public Service and the MarCom Creativity Platinum Award recognizing outstanding achievement by marketing and communications practitioners.

Casi and her daughter, Alexandra, moved to Havre de Grace in 2013 to live closer to APG and the Chesapeake Bay.  An active kayaker, Casi loves living near Tydings Park and especially the boat ramp. In 2015, she completed construction of her house, which was featured in the Havre de Grace Candlelight Tour in 2016.

As an active member of the Warrior Proud effort, she has helped lead the charge in advocating for our new Middle and High School.  In addition, Casi serves on the Maryland Health Care Commission and is a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, the Havre de Grace High School Parent Teacher Student Association and the Association of the U.S. Army.

Casi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Ursinus College and is a Certified Skilled Facilitator from Johns Hopkins University.
