Hilton Memorial Unveiling, 11:00 a.m., David Craig Park Police Department National Drug Take-Back Day The National Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs. This day is also used to educate people about the potential for abuse of medications and accidental ingestion of medications and protect the environment from drugs being washed down the sink or flushed down the toilet. National Drug Take-Back Day is on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Police Department. Come into the Police Department with your medications, and someone will be there to accept them. NEEDLES will not be accepted. Halloween Costume Contest It is that time of the year when we gather for the annual Halloween Costume Contest scheduled for Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. downtown. The contest is located on Pennington Avenue between Lodge Lane and Washington Street. So dress up in your finest goblin, ghost, or favorite costume for this fan-favorite special event.
