Case No. 546 Permit No: 2025-0062 Location: 414 Market Street Owner/Applicant: Elizabeth Laverick & Karen Merchant Parcel/Lot No: 1269/299 (0.26+/- Acres) Zoning: RB/Residential Business Description: 2025-0062 – Elizabeth Laverick – 414 Market Street. To hear a variance request by the Applicant of 414 Market Street from the specific provisions of the zoning ordinance §205-9(H)(4) for constructing a two-story 1,872 gross square feet (26’ x 36’) detached garage and Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) with 936 square feet that is above the garage and considered. An ADU is a conditional use within the RB/Residential Business zoning district that requires review and approval by the Board of Appeals. The Applicant will need to show the request meets the findings under §205-9(H) for ADU requirements, §25-17(B) for conditional use/special exception and §25-17(C) for variances of the City Code are applicable to this request.
