The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on proposed Ordinance 1019 which concerns new regulatory sign standards. The Mayor and City Council of Havre de Grace will hold a Public Hearing on June 17, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 711 Pennington Ave, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on proposed Ordinance 1020. Proposed Ordinance 1020 changes the Performance Standards contained in Section 205-11 of the City Code. The purpose of this proposed ordinance is to modify language under “General Intent” and add language that authorizes the Director of Public Works and/or Planning to require a Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) for certain projects. In addition, language is being proposed that specifics that an Access permit is required for any person or developer that proposes the construction of permanent improvement within the City rights-of-way, and specific standards and requirements. The public hearing on June 3, 2019 concerning proposed Ordinance 1020 has been canceled.
