Arbor Day Ceremony – April 26, 2024

The City and Municipal Tree Commission will hold their annual Arbor Day Ceremony on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. and plant 2 trees on the property at Lewis Lane & Revolution Street (on the school side).  The public is welcome to attend.

The City planted 25 trees last week on Union Avenue, Congress Avenue, Lewis Lane, and the 100 block of N. Stokes Street.  Union Avenue, Congress Avenue, and Washington Street are now fully planted.  In the past 10 years, we have planted over 600 trees on City properties and right-of-ways.
