BI-ANNUAL HYDRANT FLUSHING to begin October 12, 2020

The City’s Department of Public Works team will begin flushing the fire hydrants throughout its distribution system beginning on or about MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2020 and will continue thereafter for approximately 60 days. We do this 2x a year.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU ~
Water users may experience a brief reduction in water pressure and/or discoloration when the hydrants in your area are being flushed. While the water supply will remain safe to drink, should you notice discoloration, let the COLD water run clear. The washing of clothing is discouraged until discoloration disappears.
