The City of Havre de Grace is a CRS Community—find out what that means and how it benefits you. Flooding is the most common and costly natural disaster in the United States. Homeowners and renters insurance does not typically cover flood damage. Structure coverage and contents coverage are separate policies. Renters can get flood coverage also. More than 20% of flood claims come from properties outside the high-risk flood zone.
