    Did you know…..
The City of Havre de Grace is a CRS Community—find out what that means and how it benefits you.  Flooding is the most common and costly natural disaster in the United States. Homeowners and renters insurance does not typically cover flood damage. Structure coverage and contents coverage are separate policies. Renters can get flood coverage also. More than 20% of flood claims come from properties outside the high-risk flood zone.

Whether you are confused about coverage options, flood zones, or FEMA  regulations/requirements, in one FREE session, these professionals can answer your questions and offer possible solutions that may help to reduce your flood insurance rates.

If available, bring along your Elevation Certificate and current Flood Insurance policy.  Sit one-on-one with a Certified Floodplain Manager to review your current policy and determine the proper mitigation steps needed to lower your premium.
