For the Good of the Commission:

● The new Living War Museum at the American Legion Post 47 will be open on weekends to visitors starting June 3. That will be Saturday & Sunday, 1-4pm.

● Historic Swansbury Open House materials from open house.

● The Ellsworth B. Shank Lecture Series by Bob McGee on the Old Post Road is Thursday, June 15 at the American Legion.

● Preservation Maryland’s annual event is November 2 at The Heron Room at Mill No. 1, 3000 Falls Rd, Baltimore, MD 21211. https://www.preservationmaryland.org/30480-2/

● September 7th: Ellsworth B. Shank Lecture Series with Colleen Webster as Emily Dickinson at the Opera House. Sponsored by the Historic Havre de Grace Foundation and the Greater Havre de Grace Museum Group

● The museum group’s passport program started June 1st. The program was started last summer as a way to encourage museum visitations.

● Matilda O’Neill Run, the Kayak Poker Paddle, on June 24 to Benefit the Harford Land Trust and the American Legion. See https://www.harfordlandtrust.org/events/kayak-poker-run-2023/
