Havre de Grace DPW Acquires New Sewer Truck

The City of Havre de Grace DPW team acquired a brand new sewer truck.

The Vactor brand combination sewer cleaner will be used on a daily basis to clean sewer systems. The machine uses a positive displacement vacuum system for hydro excavation that sits on a 2024 Freightliner chassis.

The Hydro Excavator is a high-pressure water system that is used to dig around other pipes and utilities including Fiber Optic lines without damaging them. This unit has an advanced computer system to help make this unit safer to operate.
