It’s Hydrant Flushing Time!

The City of Havre de Grace is in the process of flushing fire hydrants throughout our distribution system. This semi-annual process takes about 45 days. The Spring 2024 season will be finished by mid-June.

Water users may experience a brief reduction in water pressure and/or discoloration when the hydrants in your area are being flushed.  The water supply will remain safe to drink. If you notice discoloration, let the COLD water faucet run clean.  The washing of clothes is discouraged until discoloration disappears.
