Notice of CANCELED Public Hearing – May 6, 2024

Due to the City Council not proposing a raise in real property taxes, under Maryland law, a public hearing is not needed; therefore, the public hearing scheduled for May 6, 2024 at 6 p.m. is canceled.  The regularly scheduled Council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on May 6.

The ordinance to establish the tax rate, per code, is scheduled to have its first reading on May 6, public hearing on May 20, and second reading and adoption on June 3; all meetings are at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
