Notice of City Election – May 3, 2022

An election to elect three members of the City Council for the City of Havre de Grace will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the former Havre de Grace High School Gymnasium (700 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace).  Polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.

All citizens of the United States, 18 years of age or older who have resided in the City for 21 days preceding the election and whose names shall appear upon the list of registered voters of the City shall be entitled to vote.

The Public is invited to witness the Logic and Accuracy testing of the voting equipment.  The testing will be held on April 25, 2022, 1:00 p.m. in the Harford County Board of Elections Office at 133 Industry Lane, Forest Hill, MD.  For further information, you may contact the Board of Elections Office by calling: 410-638-3565.

The deadline to receive an application for an Absentee Ballot through the mail is April 26, 2022; after then by person.  All Absentee Ballots must be returned to City Hall by 5:00 p.m., May 3, 2022.
