NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Firehouse #2

    The City of Havre will conduct a Public Hearing to provide information on the progress of Firehouse #2, 2nd floor renovation and construction of two ADA Bathrooms and Wheelchair Ramp Project. The Firehouse #2 project was funded under the Maryland Community Development Block Grant Program which is a federally funded program designed to assist governments with activities directed toward neighborhood and housing revitalization, economic development and improved community facilities and services.

    The hearing will be held at the Havre de Grace City Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 711 Pennington Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD 21078 at 7:00pm.

    Efforts will be made to accommodate the disabled and non-English speaking residents with 3 days advance notice to Patrick Sypolt, 410-939-1800 x1131.

    WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED TO: Resa Laird at resal@havredegracemd.com or mailed to: City Hall, Attn: Resa Laird, 711 Pennington Ave, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.  Any questions or comments submitted to the City in writing in advance of the meeting will be read into the record by the Mayor.

    In-person attendance will comply with the Governor’s social distancing orders; no more than 38 people will be allowed in the Council Chambers, including the Mayor and Council Members, and anyone entering City Hall must wear a mask and maintain social distancing.  The meeting may also be viewed live by visiting the City of Havre de Grace website at www.havredegracemd.gov and click on the live stream video icon.  The video will be available to view on the website after 12 p.m. the following day.
