    Ordinance No. 1053 concerning FY 2022 Water and Sewer Rates

    The Mayor and City Council of Havre de Grace will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 10, 2021, at 6 pm in the City Council Chambers, 711 Pennington Avenue, Havre de Grace, to receive public comment on Ordinance No. 1052 and Ordinance No. 1053.


    Ordinance No. 1052 – An ordinance fixing the tax rate for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 and providing an additional special tax levied within the critical area special taxing district and setting the service charge for the semi-annual property tax payment option.

    Ordinance No. 1053 – An ordinance establishing the city water and sewer rates and service participation fees for the users of the city water and sewer system.

    A copy of Ordinance No. 1052 and Ordinance No. 1053 is available for review at City Hall and at www.havredegracemd.com.

    In order to ensure compliance with the Governor’s social distancing orders, no more than 26 people will be allowed in the Council Chambers, including the Mayor and Council Members.  Anyone entering City Hall must wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

    Written public comments may be submitted to the Director of Administration, Patrick Sypolt at patricks@havredegracemd.com or mailed in advance to: City Hall, Attn: Patrick Sypolt, 711 Pennington Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.  Any questions or comments submitted to the City in writing in advance of the meeting will be read into the record.
