Notice to Citizens Wanting to Vote by Mail-in (Absentee) Ballot in City Election – May 7, 2024

    All voters who wish to vote by mail-in (absentee) ballot in the 2024 City of Havre de Grace Election MUST complete an application to receive a mail-in ballot.  The Absentee Ballot Application can be found at City Hall or click here.

    If you want your ballot mailed to you: you must return the application to the Harford County Board of Elections Office at 133 Industry Lane in Forest Hill by April 30, 2024 at 5 pm if you mail or deliver the application or by 11:59 pm if you fax (410-638-3310) or email (elections@harfordcountymd.gov) the application.  If you mail it, it must be received – not just mailed – by April 30, 2024.

    If you want your ballot in-person: you can receive the application and a ballot up until and on May 7, 2024. Your ballot must be returned to City Hall by May 7, 2024 at 5 p.m.

    Note: Applications to be placed on the permanent mail-in ballot list through the state of Maryland or the Harford County Board of Elections applies to Federal and State elections only.
