Off-Peak Temporary Lane Closures on Hatem Bridge (US 40) beginning February 19, 2024

Work on the first phase of a rehabilitation project, which includes painting of the Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40), requires off-peak temporary lane closures on the bridge to accommodate construction equipment and provide safe conditions for workers. One lane will remain open in each direction throughout the duration of the project.

Weather permitting, temporary lane closures can be expected Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning the week of February 19, 2024. This schedule is subject to change as the project progresses to future phases. The project is anticipated to be complete in May 2026.
