Sanitary Sewage Overflow – June 8, 2024 Havre de GraceSanitary Sewage Overflow – June 8, 2024 The Health Department was notified late Wednesday, June 12, 2024, of a sanitary sewage overflow (SSO). It occurred at Bulle Rock Parkway between Native Dancer Circle and Summer Squall Court (closer to Summer Squall Court) due to a pump failure at the Native Dancer Pump Station. The overflow occurred intermittently from Saturday, June 8, 2024, to Sunday, June 9, 2024. At approximately 2:30 p.m. on June 9, 2024, the overflow was stopped and cleanup efforts began. The overflow released approximately 40,000 gallons of raw sewage. Signs have been posted and the ground has been limed to disinfect the area. Please avoid the area where signs are posted. This overflow does not affect your drinking water or flushing of toilets.
