Statement From Mayor William T. Martin Regarding The Appointment of Teresa Gardner.

This evening I had the opportunity to swear in Teresa Gardner as the city’s next Director of Public Works.
Teresa Gardner is one of the most qualified professionals in her field, with experience managing large public works operations and infrastructure projects, doing so most recently as the Director of Public Works for the City of Salisbury, Md.
As Director of Public Works, Mrs. Gardner will craft the city’s short and long-term strategic infrastructure plan, as she oversees the department’s six divisions.
I look forward to working with Mrs. Gardner. As we continue to make Havre de Grace a 21st century city, it is important we have highly skilled and educated leaders like her to help guide our city into the future.
