Susquehanna River Rail Bridge Project

The Susquehanna River Rail Bridge will be a huge project that will overshadow our City within the next ten years.  It’s an important and necessary project for Amtrak regional rail service along the Northeast Corridor and, right now, it’s a bottleneck for rail traffic because the bridge is only two tracks wide.  They will be replacing this 110 year old bridge with two new twin bridges which will have four tracks to provide Next Generation high-speed rail.
