2026 Summer Habitat Management Internship Opportunity – Applications Due 3/31/2026 Havre de Grace2026 Summer Habitat Management Internship Opportunity – Applications Due 3/31/2026 Under the direct supervision and training of the City’s Manager of Living Shorelines, Jodie Shivery, MLA, CPH, LTE, FCQP, a team of interns will perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to habitat restoration and maintenance across approximately 15 acres of high-profile “natural” landscape. Ideal candidates are pursuing education or careers in green industries and have a strong interest in working outdoors. Interns should have a passion for native plants, natural and urban pollinator habitat care, and a desire to build practical habitat management skills. Some experience in gardening or coursework in ecology, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
