Approval of Minutes – April 16, 2025
Reports of Officers / Boards / Committees -Chair Report and Welcome i. Report to the Commission regarding recent input from TAM regarding travel to the US ii. Thanks to Commission members who have volunteered to serve another term -Other Committees if they have information to share with the Commission
Unfinished / Old Business / On-going Business -Report on the 2025 lawn games, specifically June 29th, July 27th, August 24th and September 28th, all from 1 to 3 PM on the Lockhouse grounds. -Reminder of on-going monthly Zoom calls with Twinning Association of Mumbles, which occur on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Next, June 18th, 11:30 AM. -Update on work related to building a Welsh dragon for CEC participation in the Independence Day parade. Two planning and work sessions have been held. We will need a minimum of 8 people to carry the dragon and banners in the parade. -Reminder of the Commission’s decision to participate in the Holiday Tree Festival in December. -Reminder of the plan for CEC/HdG Twinning to create again in 2025 the Holiday Greetings exchange with TAM and the Hennebont Twinners. -Discussion of possible next steps in beginning a series of CEC/HdG Twinning movie nights featuring Welsh and French movies.
