Notice to Citizens Wanting to Vote by Mail-in (Absentee) Ballot in City Election – May 6, 2025

    All voters who wish to vote by mail-in (absentee) ballot in the 2025 City of Havre de Grace Election MUST complete an application to receive a mail-in ballot.  The Absentee Ballot Application can be found at City Hall or click here.

    If you want your ballot mailed to you: you must return the application to the City of Havre de Grace, 711 Pennington Avenue in Havre de Grace by 5 pm on April 29, 2025 if you mail or deliver the application or by 11:59 pm if you fax (410-939-7527) or email (info@havredegracemd.com) the application.  If you mail it, it must be received – not just mailed – by April 29, 2025.

    If you want your ballot in-person: you can receive the application and a ballot up until and on May 6, 2025. Your ballot must be returned to City Hall by May 6, 2025 at 5 p.m.

    Note: Applications to be placed on the permanent mail-in ballot list through the state of Maryland or the Harford County Board of Elections applies to Federal and State elections only.
