Sewer Repair may cause Noise Issues – December 15, 2025

City DPW staff, along with the assistance from Comer Construction, will be repairing a 20” sewer force main beginning on December 15 at approximately 8:30 pm. This repair operation may take up to 24 hours to complete. There will be NO interruptions of water or sewer services during this time. However, there will be temporary pumps, located at the main pump station located on the 100 block of Lafayette Street, that will be operating during the repair operation and will create noise issues. This includes the actual repair site on Bloomsbury Avenue between Seneca Avenue and Wilson Street.
