Tree Removal on N. Washington Street – August 12, 2024

The contractor has confirmed that they will begin removing the trees on both sides of the 100 and 200 blocks of North Washington Street on Monday, August 12th.  Work will begin at approximately 8 a.m.  No parking will be permitted on either side of the street during this process.  There may also be temporary street closings in the area during the process as well to protect the public from falling trees and branches.  The work will proceed uninterrupted until complete and when safe and practical, parking and traffic movement through the area will be permitted. 

This work should not cause any disruption of water or sewer service to the area.

New trees are scheduled to be planted toward the end of the project, which is the end of this year depending on any weather related delays.
