City Promotes 7 Police Officers At the July 1, City Council Meeting the City of Havre de Grace recognized the promotions of 3 new Sergeants and 4 new Corporals. Havre de Grace Police Department Promoted the following to the rank of Sergeant: Sgt. Jonathan Sova, Sgt. Brian Daniels, and Sgt. Daniel Petz Promoted to the rank of Corporal: Cpl. Jeremy Lathroum, Cpl. Philip Goertz, Cpl. Anthony Molesky, and Cpl. Bertram Brown. Congratulations to all of our new supervisors and continue to work hard for all the citizens and visitors of our great City!
Detective Chet Norton selected as the VFW Law Enforcement Officer of the Year! Big congratulations to Detective Chet Norton for being selected as the VFW Law Enforcement Officer of the Year! Detective Norton investigated numerous high-profile cases in 2018 that led to convictions in the courts. We salute Detective Norton for his tireless effort, dedication, and devotion to the citizens of Havre de Grace and the Havre de Grace Police Department.
Officer Humphrey Promoted to rank of Lieutenant Congratulations to our newest Lieutenant, Lt. Humphrey. Lt. Humphrey has been serving the City of Havre de Grace for over 31 years (27 sworn, four Auxiliary Police). Before becoming a law enforcement professional, he served and retired from the United States Army. We are proud of Lt. Humphrey and wish him continued success in his new position.
