New Business BoA No. 539 Location:931 Pulaski Highway-US Route 40 (South Bound) Owner/Applicant: James Rush Permit No: 2024-0216 Parcel No: 2299 (.5+/- Acres) Description: To hear a request by the property owner of 931 Pulaski Highway for a sign variance approval within the Commercial/C zoning district for the maximum height for a freestanding sign per §151-18(B)(1)(b). The current maximum allowable height is ten (10) feet. Applicant is requesting permission to install a sign that is fifteen (15) feet tall to accommodate a dual sign to provide visible advertising for two tenants. The applicant will need to show the request meets the findings under §151-29 and §25-17(C).
BoA No. 540 Location:128 Weber Street Owner/Applicant: James Rush Permit No: 2024-0215 Parcel No: 1779 (.25+/- Acres) Description: To hear a request by the property owner of 128 Weber Street for a conditional use approval within the Residential-2/R-2 zoning district to allow for two single-family attached dwellings. The proposed use as “duplex” requires conditional use approval per §205-21(B) within the R-2 zoning district. The applicant will need to show the request meets the findings under Chapter §25-17(B).
